10-Day Fast Purpose Statement
Dates: Wednesday, August 20 – Friday, August 29
Theme: “A Divine Reset: Testimony, Order & Transformation”
As we enter this 10-day fast, we align ourselves with the biblical significance of the number 10—a number that speaks to divine order, completeness, testimony, and responsibility. These 10 days will be a sacred time of intentional separation unto God for the purpose of:
- Spiritual Alignment – allowing God to bring divine order to our hearts, homes, and church.
- Breaking Old Cycles – closing the door on old patterns, weariness, or spiritual stagnation.
- Personal and Corporate Testimony – believing that as we fast and pray, God will release fresh testimonies of healing, breakthrough, and clarity
- New Beginnings – embracing the new season God is preparing for us with faith, obedience, and readiness.
Why 10 Days? The Biblical Significance of the Number 10
The number 10 reminds us of the Ten Commandments—God's divine law that calls us to greater responsibility and consecration. As a church, we will commit these 10 days to deeper surrender, purity, and purpose, expecting that what God begins in us during this fast will flow into every area of our lives.
